At the "New Kauai International Hostel," we offer clean, safe, affordable lodging on the East Shore of Kauai. Enjoy a breathtaking sunrise on the beach. Just a two minute stroll to the ocean and historic "Old Kapaa Town," where you'll find an assortment of old-style shops and restaurants. Cuisine from the corners of the world to you. Featuring dining from Japan's sushi to Italy's pasta and pizza or try some healthy ahi wraps for lunch and much more. With extensive landscaping, our beautiful hostel is set in a garden within a garden providing a relaxing sanctuary for Kauai's "Malihini" (visitors). We provide bedding. Please bring your own towel and bath supplies. We also have coin operated laundry machines and laundry detergent available. Wireless internet access is also available. Come... See... Feel... We require that you provide proof of return plane ticket upon checking in. Present your flight itinerary, or printed version of your E-ticket along with valid I. D. No Exceptions! Airport pickups may be arranged by calling us when you arrive on Kauai for a fee of 15 dollars if a driver is available. If not, a taxi will cost about 25 dollars. We are just off the bus line, however we strongly recommend the use of a rental car to optimize your stay.
